What Is Arturia Software Center
Arturia Software Center (ASC) is the hub for all Arturia music software on your computer. Just as Windows Software Center manages enterprise applications on work computers, Arturia Software Center manages your Arturia music production software — synthesizers, effects, MIDI tools, and virtual instruments.
If you own any of these Arturia products, you need ASC to install and keep them active:
- V Collection — virtual analog synthesizer collection (Minimoog V, Jupiter-8 V, etc.)
- Pigments — polyphonic software synthesizer
- Analog Lab — preset browser and performance tool
- FX Collection — studio effects and processors
- MIDI Controllers software — KeyLab, MiniLab, BeatStep editor software
How to Download Arturia Software Center
Visit the Arturia Website
Open your browser and navigate to www.arturia.com. Hover over the Support or Resources menu at the top and look for Downloads, or navigate directly to www.arturia.com/support/downloads.
Find Arturia Software Center
On the downloads page, look for Arturia Software Center (ASC). It is listed as a free utility separate from individual products. Select your operating system (Windows or macOS).
Download the Installer
Click the Download button for Arturia Software Center. The file is approximately 100-200 MB and saves to your Downloads folder as a .exe (Windows) or .dmg (macOS) file.
Run the Installer
Double-click the downloaded installer file. On Windows, click Yes if prompted by User Account Control. Follow the installation wizard — accept the license agreement, choose an installation folder, and click Install.
Complete Installation
The installer places Arturia Software Center in your Programs folder (Windows) or Applications folder (macOS). After installation, a desktop shortcut is typically created. Click Finish to close the installer.
Setting Up and Activating Arturia Products
Open Arturia Software Center
Launch ASC from your desktop shortcut or Start menu. On first launch, you will be prompted to sign in.
Sign In to Your Arturia Account
Enter your Arturia account email and password. If you do not have an account, click Create Account and register for free at my.arturia.com. Your account is also where you register purchased licenses.
View Your Products
After signing in, click the My Products tab. All Arturia products registered to your account appear here, showing installation status (Installed/Not Installed) and available versions.
Install a Product
Find the product you want to install in My Products. Click the Install button. ASC handles the entire download and installation process, including placing VST/AU plugins in the correct system folders.

A progress bar shows download and installation progress. Do not close ASC during installation. Large packages like V Collection can take 15-30 minutes depending on your internet speed.
